 Here's a sample of my hand-coloured salmon blush silk velvet
and a fragment silkscreened with my Persian jacket motif in silver metallic. Sustainable botanical colour saturates silk with a glorious softness. I adore and appreciate purity, transparency and quality.

Carolyn Quartermaine's book 'Revealed' sparked my interest in textile design when it debuted in America in 1997. Since this was in the ancient days before google, it felt like I'd entered a dream world of a genius maker. Her passionate enthusiasm for experimenting with colour and motif created a realm of possibility in my life.
