Marble Stone on Pure Silk
'Velvet covered chairs the colour of tarnished silver weathered bark and oyster shells Orchid dove walls of alabaster cream Delicate tints of jade shimmer in the courtyard fountain' ~ poem from Juliet's book SUNSTAR From the French sea cliffs above the Atlantic this honey forms in pale gold hives tucked safely from the storms. A creamy soft oyster and Egyptian gold colour, it curls around my mother~of~pearl spoon like salty taffy waves slowly rolling to shore. Giselle, my great grand-mother's family owns and gathers this versatile confection ~
their motto has always been 'And honey and butter shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil and choose the good' Isaiah 7:15 Provenance ~ floral cream and marine air, buttery smooth taste making one feel like laughing and crying in the very same breath. This current vintage is the best I've ever tasted. A perfect fit with the following dishes and pairs very well with Italian fresh pecorino.
