From the French sea cliffs above the Atlantic this honey forms in pale gold hives tucked safely from the storms. A creamy soft oyster and Egyptian gold colour, it curls around my mother~of~pearl spoon like salty taffy waves slowly rolling to shore. Giselle, my great grand-mother's family owns and gathers this versatile confection ~
their motto has always been
'And honey and butter shall he eat, that he may know to
refuse the evil and choose the good' Isaiah 7:15
Provenance ~ floral cream and marine air, buttery smooth taste
making one feel like laughing and crying in the very same breath.
This current vintage is the best I've ever tasted.
